Music Together® Mixed-Age Classes -

Music Together mixed-age classes are:

  • A community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting.

  • Music learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children.

  • Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers participating at their own levels in family-style classes of mixed ages.

  • Parents and caregivers contributing to the enrichment of their child's music environment-regardless of their own musical abilities.

  • A new song collection every semester for three years, featuring great arrangements of original and traditional songs in a wide variety of tonalities, meters, and cultural, meters, and cultural styles.

45 minutes of PURE FUN with your child every week for 10 weeks!

Music Together Demonstration Classes-

Attending a Music Together demonstration class gives families a better understanding of what Music Together is all about.  The instructor (or guide) explains what they may look forward when taking classes that they may not be used to in other programs (such as children are allowed to move freely about the room rather than sitting at all times, and your guide will be talking to you the parent more than your child). Families will also get to participate in an abbreviated Music Together class and meet parents in and around the neighborhood.  It is a great time to be had by all!
